I am a down to earth, funny gal, I just recently moved to Woodstock, to help out with financials while going to school in the Chicago. I love partying but also love to just sit back and watch flicks as well as playing Wii guitar hero with my nieces. Some flaws is that I do smoke when stressed or social situations and I swear like a sailor sometimes. I currently live in Woodstock, IL. I moved here to be closer to the rest of my family. I graduated high school in AZ, and received my private pilot license. i live for art and i used to be really into music i still play guitar but i havent been singing as much lately. writing is another pen pf my pasions, i write lots of poetry and try to write scripts and im intoe filming, so far not too much has come of it but my goal is ot make my own short/indi film. i also love animals, i love working with and riding horses. im into painting drawing and making jewelry. in less words im very artistic. i like being with a person that i can talk to about anything. i can be closed off when you first get to know me but evetually i open up and am a good person to be around.

I work hard, I enjoy my time off by doing whatever suits me at the moment, I am not selfish by any means just while most of my work time is planned I tend to let the wind carry me where it will when I am off. I enjoy a wide variety of activities. Flow with it....I can walk with no destnation, get in the car and drive the same way. Now that my kids are away at school I am pursuing my interests like seeing more live theatre, looking for a music venue to see, or feeling the earth between my fingers in the garden. Well let's see. I started out life as a Submarine Sonar Technician for the Navy. Had many adventures over the course of seven years, then decided to move on. I then went to college at Southern Illinois University. I graduated and earned my commercial pilot license. I got out of the aviation industry and have been doing odd jobs since. Life's funny like that. I'm currently a caretaker. I help out elderly people with their daily living activities. From insulin shots to buying a new TV, I do it all. Not really using my degree, but that's OK. I'm also an assistant coordinator for the Wonder Lake Neighbors Food Pantry, which I do thrice a week or so.

Due to a recent opening in the personnel department there is a highly rewarding position to be filled here the benefits include medical I have a Band-Aid. Dental I have a toothpick. Hearing, I will listen to you. Vision I wear glasses. Pension, I will grow old with you. I find that being a parent is very hard work, but it is the little things that make it all worthwhile. I am a single dad, who divorced 7 years ago. I wound up with sole custody of my two children. They were 2 and 5 when the divorce was final, but I've been taking care of them since they were 8 months old and 3 years old. My ex has no visitation, I have a son who is now 12 and a daughter who is now 9 that are with me 24/7/365. They do not see or talk to their mother so whomever I am with, needs to understand this. I don't have the typical 1/2 on 1/2 off schedule. . I also have a son that is two years-old from a relationship that didn't work out, hey .... happens. He lives out of state with his mother, things regarding parenting time are in place and nothing is final yet regarding custody. I race vintage street motorcycles and just won a national title. Oh yeah, I beat the heck out of the other novice riders, except that retired guy who took 2nd. It was close at the end. Other hobbies include snowboarding, snowmobiling, fixing anything mechanical(and a fair amount of non-mechanical), wood working, frisbee, biking(all types), working out, and computer repair.

i enjoy eating things when i am hungry, drinking things when i am thirsty, and living life when life doesnt hand you anything fun. i like kung fu movies and comedies. im a football fan (go bears!) and for the most part, i like making people laugh. im about 195 pounds and im 6'4 so im a bit skinny. and my favorite color is orange. i play bass and im learning drums. im very open to new things. i have a healthy thick head of hair, i dont get sick very often. i enjoy the outdoors.... i also enjoy the indoors. i love robots, ninjas, and funk.

But enough about them, let me tell you a bit about me and what I am looking for. I am looking for a fairytale. I want someone to laugh with me. I want a person, who despite lifeâ??s daily grind, will let it all melt away when she sees me. I want a person who will rely on me but also be strong enough to be self-sufficient. I want a person who recognizes that the little things done and said, speak volumes in the relationship arena. I want a person to can see, appreciate, prioritize and separate our relationship to that of the rest of life. I want to love and be loved.

As you can tell by now I am an open person and feel it is important to share feelings. I am not loud or boisterous but not a mouse either. I have a sensitive side and don't mind sharing that with the right person. I am witty but it is not overly done. I am a good man guy with a big heart and twinkle in his eyes.

I would characterize myself as quite normal and not as a typical male. I mean, I like sports but rarely do I sit down to watch them on TV. I would rather be out playing them. Also I like to shop. What? I know right? I do like to cook as well. I am not good at it, but nobody has died yet. I like to go sledding or ice skating in the winter and boat rides or picnics in the summer. First thing is first, I'm not like your "typical" guy. Of course I am sarcastic, yes I like football but I don't keep track of who is where and on what team. I believe in the more we talk, the more we will grow. I was raised by a single mom with two sons, who came up from a trailor park in mundolein (some of you might know where that is). Money was always a problem, and with me, and my older brother not actually knowing our fathers (different dads, we knew of them, my older brother just knew his and he wasnt cool, I did not know mine till I was 18). I will warn you, I am really smart. Some women find that a turn off, I also have a particular taste. Im great for friends, but when it comes to romance, I do my best to surprise you, make you smile, hold your hand, but not all the time. I think that if you give everyone everything, you in turn lose everything you have. In the end we are all individuals who seek someone to share our lives with. That is love. But we all need to have some space as well (even living with others). I don't care what you say though, cheating is CHEATING. Friends are okay duh. And when I am with someone, im not gonna give them a sneer just because that person wants to be with their friends. GO OUT AND HAVE FUN! Life is short, experience it. Just please, do it with a sense of a moral back bone. No one likes getting hurt. Now that I have laid a bit of me as a wall, lets get to the water. K well, we already established that I am not your typical guy. I have a heart, and I have a brain. I have also had a goal since I was young and it developed into a full fledged dream of mine. My dream in life is this, I know that without art, I am not me. With out being creative, I am not me. I love creating monsters, action scenes, giving someone flowers in the way of a water painting. Art is my life. And my dream is to become a conceptual artist for video games. Sounds geeky? So what, I am who I am. lol And family will always come first over work, and if that means sacrificing family for work so family can have meals and I don't, so be it, but im not there yet, that is why I am here lol. Friends or more is no problem for me. I do not cheat, I do not steal, I do not play games (unless its obvious tickling or messing around...duh!) I smile at life, the wonderful things it has brought me. The lessons I have learned since way back when, and the lessons I will learn hence here forth.

Yes I love video games. And right now I had to sell my system so I can pay bills, cause no matter where I search, no jobs will hire (been to glen view, round lake, Geneva, island lake, McHenry, river wood, still nothing, even with a resume). I went to college, but I was unable to graduate cause I could no longer get approved for loans (family is having hard times in the economy right now). Some how I manage with a straight mind....other times I can't help but wish I could change everything with a wave of my hand. Sometimes life clips your wings, and you have to learn how to grow another pair. I do what I can.

This is me in a nutshell. I care about people, sometimes more than myself and I know I shouldn't. I was raised with a big heart.
